Jessica Durrant is Three Rivers School District’s new Director of Teaching & Learning for grades K-8 and Director of Federal Programs. Jessica graduated from Pacific University in 1998 with an Advanced Math and Biology degree. She started teaching in 1999 as an Integrated Science teacher at Duniway Middle School in McMinnville, OR, before moving to Grants Pass in August 2003 and starting her career with Three Rivers School District.

Jessica taught math at Hidden Valley High School from 2003-2005. She then became Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Hidden Valley in 2005-06. Following that, Jessica served as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Lincoln Savage Middle School for two years and then was Principal at Manzanita Elementary from 2008 to 2014. She worked for Grants Pass School District as Principal of Riverside Elementary School for two years, and has now returned to Three Rivers.

Jessica has been married to husband Mike (a math teacher for Grants Pass High School) for 18 years, and they have two daughters: Abby, grade 9, and Madeline, grade 7. Jessica loves to spend time riding her bike on the beautiful roads of Southern Oregon. Her family loves outdoor activities like  hiking and paddle boarding, and traveling and exploring new places and restaurants.

After working in Three Rivers School District for 11 years, Jessica says it is a privilege and honor to come back “home” and work with the talented educators in our schools: “I look forward to supporting staff and principals in the path to excellent lesson design and delivery.”

Please join us in giving Jessica a warm welcome as she starts off her newest position with Three Rivers!
